FOREIGN Office informs us that Wai-wu Pu, in reply to Hukuang Railway identie note, have requested British Minister, Peking, to notify banks interested to negotiate direct with Board of Communications. Re foregoing, keep us closely informed about what is being done.

RE your wire of 12th, with concurrence of legation four banks they have addressed joint despatch Board of Communications requesting interview for discussion of formality necessary complete agreement 6th June and American supplementary agreement in terms of identic note.
